James Grant addresses the NY Fed.  A little dense for casual readers, but the core is plain:  if the Federal Reserve keeps treating money as a policy tool rather than as a predictable medium of exchange that provides reliable price feedback (gold backed, per Grant), the economy will never be stable and will not recover.

USCCB: An Unjust Law Must Not Be Obeyed

The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops has published Our First, Most Cherished Liberty, a call to defend the rights of every American to the free exercise of religion.  The conference calls the HHS contraception/sterilization mandate an unjust law, not to be obeyed.  Father John A. Hardon, S.J., argued that we, now, are living in the age of martyrs,   We are living in the Age of Martyrs, as millions of Christians died for the Faith in the 20th century, red martyrdom.

Hardon also spoke of white, or bloodless, martyrdom, suffering for witnessing to the Faith. Looks like another opportunity is coming.
